How to Cook Brown Rice

So many of you are wondering, how to cook brown rice perfectly, to where it’s not crunchy and doesn’t have that weird texture when you eat it.  Well its pretty simple, actually.  I experimented and experimented until I finally got it right.  The brown rice was so good.

Here is how to cook brown rice:

What you want to do is boil 4 cups of water in a pot.  Then add one cup of rice to the boiling water and boil for thirty minutes on medium heat uncovered.  Once its done cooking, strain the remaining water out. Place the rice back into the hot pot and cover the it with a lid.  Keep it covered for ten minutes.  After ten minutes your brown rice will be cooked perfectly…enjoy!

Brown rice is a very healthy alternative to white rice, bread, and other grains.  Why you ask? Well for one it is not as much of an inflammatory as the other grains, so it doesn’t cause as many allergic reactions.
